Fourty-second Wedding Anniversary 1957

To Mom and Dad:
We have brought this album together in such a manner that we trust will bring many pleasant thoughts to all who look upon it's pages. There have been hard-ships and heart-aches, but the blessings that God gives in the privilege of being a parent is so much greater that we shall dwell upon the children of this union and trust that they never cease.

The album was cut by Glen Smith, Son-in-law and the cover was painted by Mrs. Lillian Mills, Salem., a friend of ours. All pages and contents were assembled by my-self, Doreen.

The clothing throughout the book is made from scraps of material of clothing of the grand-children.

Look upon this book and treasure it as long as either of you shall live, at which time we wish that it shall become the possession of our Son, Dick, who loves you both dearly,
